Something is wrong with the zooming of maps in CATE

I have just had a go at adding a few more points to
the maps in CATE. Great to see that the zooming
facility has been implemented but there is something
wrong with it. I have checked a few species but by no
means a large number and it seems that the maps of
species with distributions west of Greenwich work OK
(although they do not zoom as closely as I might have
expected in some cases). However, those with
distributions east of Greenwich zoom to the maximum to
begin with and the actual distribution can only be seen
when the maps are zoomed out. I have no idea if this is
really generally true but it was for the couple of
dozen species in various genera that I checked.
